Advance Practice Registered Nurses
Hospice Home Care
Location Fairfield County
Hourly Rate: $85.00 to 90.00 hour
Full- Time: No Admissions in the field unless you are the attending. Patient will need to elect you as the attending to do the admission.
Any day the APRN is scheduled to work. The APRN will also have to cover the on- call for that night, which will be paid at a different rate.
AAA Nursing Care is a staffing agency located in Fairfield County. Currently, we are seeking APRN's for a hospice home care company located in Fairfield County. APRN must have at least one year of nursing experience.
The APRN is essentially overseeing all the patients in conjunction with the hospice medical director. Eg. Typically, they have an attending Physician and at times not reachable. In the event they need comfort meds the APRN will need to step in. The APRN will have to Report to Danbury Office, our center with IDT Meetings on Tuesday mornings.
Required Qualifications :
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice RN in the state of Connecticut.
- Completion of a master's degree in nursing.
- Licensed as a Advanced Hospice and Palliative Care certification (ACHPN) or will obtain certification within 6 months.
- A current DEA number.
- A current NPI number.
